FLORISTIC INVENTORIES OF THE SOUTHWEST

Floristic Inventories of the Southwest is a documentation of the floral diversity between more than 20 island mountain masses in West Texas and New Mexico. This area encompasses the overlap of the Chihuahuan and Sonoran Deserts in the United States and northern Mexico. The goal of the project is to develop a model for predicting plant diversity on mountain masses of different sizes.

Presently, plant inventories for the Little Hatchet Mountains (Grant and Hidalgo Cos., NM) and the Florida Mountains (Luna Co., NM) are available. Coming soon are the inventories for the Organ Mountains (NM) and the Hueco and Franklin Mountains (TX). To obtain copies please see Books 'N Things.

Feel free to ask any question about southwestern scientific subjects. If your question cannot be answered, SWRAPS will be happy to refer you, at no charge, to the proper authority for answers.

For more information about the project please contact SWRAPS through E-mail at swraps@swraps.com , FAX (915) 833-8208 or mail at P. O. Box 13331, El Paso, TX 79913-3331.

OFFICIAL SCIENTIFIC & HISTORICAL REPTS.

Southwestern Research and Professional Services has provided many years of service in environmental studies and reports. Environmental Impact Statements are regularly produced for national, state and local governments throughout West Texas and New Mexico. Endangered species studies are also conducted with special strengths in the areas of cryptogams, malacology, and herpetology. Other areas of natural study are insects, birds and mammals.

Historical studies are conducted for official reports (e.g. historical preservation) and for general interest. Southwestern history has fascinated the public for many years. "What is" and "what was" are described with accuracy and full documentation. Those seeking basic or specialized information can find it at SWRAPS.

Exonumia is the third area of research and publication conducted by SWRAPS. Trade tokens are the specialty. Books and occasional artifacts are available for sale through Books 'N Things.

GENERAL SERVICES

Far West Texas and New Mexico are remote from most metropolitan areas. The area is the 17th largest in the country and a major player in the maquila industry. However, it can be hard to reach and to leave once here. SWRAPS is able to research, perform and produce either small or big projects for you without you ever leaving your business or home.

We are writers and proofreaders and provide secretarial service. The variety of experience thus enables SWRAPS to produce a complete package for the customer.

SWRAPS reserves the right to decline projects that are deemed inappropriate.

To inquire about or engage these services, please contact SWRAPS by E-mail at swraps@swraps.com , FAX at (915) 833-8208 and mail at P. O. Box 13331, El Paso, TX 79913-3331.
